I love when stamp companies fill an entire stamp set as full as they can possibly get it. What I mean by that is, I love when every little space is taken up on the backing sheet. I think that is why I am so drawn to my Inspired by Stamping sets. Almost every stamp set I own from Inspired by Stamping, even sentiment sets, have these little stamps included to fill up the space in between the larger stamps. There are so many wonderful things you can use these tiny stamps for and I really feel like you’re getting the most bang for your buck when they’re included! Today, I want to share with you how I used these tiny stamps, along with a multi coloring stamping technique to create a frame to be the star of my card. You can watch the video tutorial below for the entire tutorial!!

Multi color stamping is such an easy way to stretch your stamps. Along with this technique and all the tiny stamps in the set I was able to create a gorgeous frame for my sentiment! My frame was made with two rectangle dies and the die cut inlay technique. To stamp my little images onto the frame I used green and hot pink dye ink. I went for a Valentine’s Day theme, however, it you wanted to use just the leaves and the flower stamp in the set you could easily switch this up for any occasion or color combo!
For the multi color stamping technique I would highly recommend the smaller cube, dew drop, etc (mini) ink pads. It is so much easier to get precise placement of your ink with the smaller pads.
To add a bit of color to my card I stamped my sentiment on kraft cardstock with black dye ink and also the same hot pink ink I used before. I attached all the pieces to an A2 side folding card base, making sure to add foam to my frame for a bit of dimension.
Like I said above, multi color stamping is a fun and easy way to add interest to your CAS cards. It is also a great way to utilize those small stamps you get in your stamp sets and really stretch your stamps a little further!
