I am so excited to be participating in the Spring 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Craftin Desert Divas is once again a Super Sponsor and is releasing 14 new digital stamps into their shop that are all coffee themed! Also, one is being given away as a FREEBIE!!!! You can find that one HERE, but be sure to search around the shop for all the coffee themed items they have to offer, because you won’t be disappointed!!
Here’s a quick peek at all of the new Digis that were just added to the shop! There are SOOOOO many to choose from, I need more hours in my day!!
For my card today I will be using the FREEBIE digital stamp, along with the Tipsy Cups Digi, to do a bit of stamp layering to create a very CAS Digital Stamped Card. You can watch the full video tutorial below!
ENJOY!!
This card was a snap to put together, after layering my digis in Photoshop Elements and printing on white card stock with my laser printer, I trimmed out the 4″ x 5.25″ panel with my paper trimmer. Then, it was time to color!
I pulled out my Prismacolor Colored Pencils and OMS, along with my blending stumps and paper stump sander, and got to work! For my coloring I picked some very “springy” colors which included pastels in the shades of pink, blue, purple, green, yellow, orange, a few grays and browns as well. I went for a very soft look as well and really blended out the color until it faded into white in the center of the images.
With my coloring complete, I mounted the panel straight onto an A2 top folding white card base using double sided adhesive. For my sentiment, I simply stamped “Hello” from the Simply Said Stamp Set in black dye ink to the left of the images. Finally, I added Glossy Accents on each cup’s coffee that was inside and also used the same Glossy Accents to secure down a few sequins from the Pastel Paradise sequin mix.
This card was so much to color and I love being able to combine new digital stamps with ones I’ve used before to really stretch my dollar! If you haven’t already make sure to head over to the CDD Shop and pick up the FREEBIE while it’s available and be sure to link up your creation to the hop! While you’re there, take a peek at all the new coffee themed digital stamps that were added into the shop! I just wish there was more time in my day so I could use them all!
If you are interested in any of the other Craftin Desert Divas Products I used on my card, they are all linked up below. (Affiliate links are used at no additional cost to you.) Also, there is a list of all the other products I used on the card. After a family emergency, I am taking a bit of time to get caught back up. So I am cutting back on supply lists for the time being, I hope you understand! Thanks so much for stopping by and spending a bit of time with me today! Until next time, Happy Crafting!!
