Happy Mother’s Day with Joy Clair Stamps

Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Joy Clair Stamps Mother’s Day Event!! Today, the Joy Clair DT is focusing on the Mother’s Day Stamp Set from Joy Clair Stamps and show casing some amazing projects made with this stamp set! For my project, I have a simple CAS card to share with you today! If you want to see all the details and how I made my quick and easy card, you can watch the video tutorial below! And if you want to see all of the amazing projects the DT has created, be sure to head over to the Joy Clair Stamps Blog and check them out!!

This card was simple and easy to make. I started by masking and stamping the pile of hearts several times to create an even larger pile of hearts on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ white card stock panel. I used my MISTI for the stamping and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  I also stamped the cheese grater image at an angle above the pile of hearts, again in the same ink and using my MISTI. Finally I stamped the “You’re the Grate-est” sentiment in the top right hand corner.

Using my alcohol markers I quickly colored in the stamped images. I used reds and pinks for the hearts, grays for the grater, and creams for the banner and shadows for a little something different.

Finished Card 1

This card was finished off by adhering the panel onto an A2 top folding white card base. To add a bit of dimension I used double sided adhesive and fun foam!

Finished Card 2

Be sure to head over to the Joy Clair Blog and check out the rest of the DTs projects made with this very same stamp set!! They’re are some awesome cards over there and you won’t want to miss any of the inspiration!
