-Here is June’s Mood Board-
Today, I have my final card for this month’s challenge to help give you a bit of inspiration! I was inspired by the picture in the lower right hand corner, the houses sitting on the beach shore. My card is inspired by looking out one of their windows and what you might see, and I also pulled colors from the mood board as well.
For my card front, I used the Window Pane Die to create a see through elment. I used vellum for a more muted effect, but acetate could be used for more transparency. The great thing about the Window Pane die, is not only does it have stitching on the actual die cut, but on the outside as well! This makes for an amazing look when inlaid. I also added a sentiment from the “Special Delivery” Stamp Set on a die cut from the Flag Banner Die Set.
When creating a see through card, decorating the inside of the card is just as important as the outside. I used quite a few of the CDD Die Sets to create a scene, including the Stitched Scallops, Outdoor Landscape 2, and Scene Builders. Using Distress Inks, I also added clouds to the background and depth to the die cuts.
Be sure to head over to the Facebook Group and quickly get your card entered into the challenge! The Winners will be announced tomorrow over there, and a new mood board will be posted for the month of July.
If you are interested in any of the supplies I used on my card today, you will find them linked up below. (Affiliate links used at NO additional cost to you) Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a bit of time with me today! Until next time, Happy Crafting!!!
