I hope you all have enjoyed the August Release from Craftin Desert Divas as much as I have!! It has been such a blast to work with these amazing new Stamp & Die Sets!! Today, I wanted to share with you another Only Coloring video, sharing the entire Live, Love, Plan Stamp Set!! Be sure and check out the entire video below!!
ENJOY!!
If you want to see exactly how I used those colored images, you can head back to THIS POST where I share a fun and simple card using these images!!
One of my absolute favorite sets released this month was the Get Wild set, and for my second card using this set, I really wanted to create a “picture” featuring some of these cute critters! After coloring up and fussy cutting quite a few of the cute animals and leaves, I also did quite a bit of die cutting with a ton of different die cuts to create a jungle scene! (I’ll be sure to link all the dies I used below)
As you can see, this card has a TON of die cutting on it! I did distress all of my die cuts along with my card base, with Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and Antique Linen. I also used Mowed Lawn and Crushed Olive for all of my green pieces and Salty Ocean for my sky in the background of the jungle scene. This was quite a puzzle to put together and quite a lot more layers than I am used to working with, but I couldn’t be happier with the results!!
Moving onto my second card for this first day of wrap ups, I also used the Live, Love, Plan Stamp set! I absolutely adore these trolls! I wanted to create a little scene and I did just that with a bit of masking. I did stamp everything onto a panel from the Crazy Stitched Frames Die Set.
After putting together the scene, I colored it in with my Prismacolor Colored Pencilsd and blended with Gamsol and my blending stumps. The Wishful Thoughts stamp set was perfect to turn this card into a back to school card for my son. I added a flag banner with the sentiment stamped onto it and finished off the saying directly underneath. After adhereing the panel onto an A2 side folding card base and putting a few drops of Enamel Accents for embellishment, this card was complete!!
