Creating a Gift Card Holder Inside Any Card

Just a few days ago, a brand new digital stamp was added into the Craftin Desert Divas Shop. As soon as I seen this adorable little image, I knew I wanted to create a card with it! Here’s a peek at the new Pumpkin Spice Latte Digital Stamp that I used on my card today!!!! Oh, and it’s only $0.99!!!!

I first printed off the digital image and sentiment using my laser printer, onto a piece of white card stock. For the sentiment, I used the largest plain stitched rectangle in the Fancy Frame die set to cut out a panel with the sentiment on the bottom. For the coffee cup, I made it a bit larger and quickly colored it in with my alcohol markers and then fussy cut right at the stamped lines.

Finished Card 2

Before adhering the coffee cup to the sentiment panel, I added a little Peacock Feathers Distress Ink to the top of the panel to create some shadow. After I was happy with the distress ink bending, I added the coffee cup to the top of the panel with double sided adhesive and fun foam. Next, I added the sentiment panel to a larger kraft die cut, from the same die set, and then both panels directly onto an A2 side folding card base!

Finished Card 4

I thought this card would be perfect for holding a little gift card ( to the recipient’s favorite coffee stop) so I quickly grabbed my Fancy Frames Die Set and made a little pocket on the inside of the card! Watch the quick tip video below to see how I did it!!!

I hope you enjoyed the quick tip video and a look at this adorable new digital stamp and how I used it to create a CAS and fun card!!
