Hello Everyone!! It’s Lindsay here with you today, sharing a few cards in Joy Clair Stamps partnership with Rinea Foil! Both of my cards today have a very similar asthetic and color scheme perfect for fall, but they use two very different techniques, both equally as easy and fun to do! Be sure and watch the video tutorial below for all the details on using Perfect Pearls and Weaving with Joy Clair Stamps and Rinea Foil. I also threw in a mesh shaker card, so be sure and watch!!
ENJOY!!
I will start off with the Perfect Pearls and Mesh Shaker Card. I first cut a piece of gold Rinea Foil paper down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and then using the solid leaves in the Fall Leaves stamp set, started stamping randomly onto that piece of foil with Versamark Ink. Versamark Ink by nature is a sticky ink, so stamping on the slick foil was a breeze with this ink. I first stamped about half of the panel and then dusted on Perfect Bronze powder to create some very shiny stamped images on the already gorgeous and shiny foil. I went ahead and repeated the same steps on the other half of the foil as well to complete the panel!
For this card, I wanted to turn it into a shaker, but with a twist. I’m sure you’ve all seen the mesh shaker cards and I really wanted to try one out, not to mention I have a ton of brown mesh just sitting around waiting to be used up! Be sure and watch the full tutorial above to see exactly how I put the shaker card together plus a little tip on lining up card fronts!! I finished the card off with the “Wishing You Blessings” sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.
For my second card I really wanted to demonstrate the flexibility you can achieve with the Rinea Foil, and because of that flexibility and ability to hold it’s shape, it’s perfect for 3D accents. However, I still wanted my card to be mailable in this case so I decided to do a bit of weaving with strips of the Bronze and Gold. I also used a glitter to embed in the spaces between the woven pieces for extra sparkle. For the sentiment and the background on the card front I used the brand new “Salt and Light” stamp set!
These two cards were quite a challenge, but a lot of fun to make! If you are interested in any of the Joy Clair or Rinea Foil products I used on my card today, you will find them all linked below! (Some affiliate links used) Until next time, Happy Crafting!!
