Hello Everyone and welcome to the Joy Clair World Cardmaking Day BIG Blog Hop! If you came here from Jessica’s Blog, you’re on the right track! During this blog hop you will see so many wonderful cards, and I have to say, my card was super fun to make! Over the past few weeks the DT has been busy making our own “inchies” to send to each other and use on our cards. We were each assigned to decorate and create a beautiful 3 x 3 piece of card stock. Then, we cut each square into 1″ x 1″ squares and sent them to each other, keeping one for ourselves.
It was so much fun receiving each one in the mail and seeing how each designer had used their own personal and unique style in creating that little square! I knew I wanted to created a quilted look with all of my little inches so I made a longer than usual card at 6″ x 4 1/4″. I used kraft inches to fill in spaces between each inchie for a more complete quilt look!
I decided to use a hello word die to finish this card off, but I’m not sure I’ll be sending it to anyone. I think I’ll be hanging onto it and displaying it! This challenge/collaborative card would be fun to do on your own with some of your crafty friends!
As mentioned, we have a fantastic line-up and three Special Guest Designers joining us today, all of them had been winners of our Challenges!!!. Check out the Hop order below:
