Today I wanted to share with you my project using the brand new Calendar Stamp Set. This stamp set is amazing and just perfect for all the planner lover’s out there. It has EVERYTHING you need!! And it makes me WANT to start being a planner person LOL! But with being a Mom, making cards, Bible Journaling, I just don’t see adding planner pages to my already mile long to do list. So I thought I would share with you how to create a card with this new set with some supplies you probably already have on hand! You can watch the full video tutorial below!!
This card I would consider a Punch Art Card. Punch art can be really fun to try and figure out and making new objects out of simple shapes. The main piece of advice I would give you when creating punch art is to use dies and punches you already have on hand. If you search your stash I bet you can find something similar or find a way to make something you already have work! Be sure and watch the video tutorial above for all the details!
Included in this set are all the things you need to create some amazing planner spreads and calendars. You have the outline of the calendar itself (which would make an awesome holiday gift!!), but you also have all of the months and days of the weeks, and numbers in really pretty fonts. But what I would say is the shining star of this set, is all of the little “doodles” to add your to your to do list for each day! There is EVERYTHING in this set from social media icons (for those of us who need reminding to post all of our creations online!!) to all kinds of sports icons, workout icons, arrows, holidays, etc. You name it, there’s a little stamp to fit your need! (Even a grocery cart for shopping days!!!) I’ve added a still shot in the video tutorial so you can take a closer look at all of these little stamps included in this set!
Those little icons are what I used to create my own doodles on “paper”. This was such a fun card to put together and very different from what I normally do. I had a blast creating the punch art, but really seeing the entire card some together was the best part! I also mixed in the Hello Sentiments stamp set to add my sentiment to this card, one of my all time favorites!! To finish this card, I added a few sequins and this card was finished!!
I hope you all enjoyed a look at how I used this brand new Calendar Stamp Set a little bit differently! I have linked the Calendar Set that I used today, along with the Hello Sentiments below. You can head over to the Joy Clair Shop and take a look at even more examples using these fabulous sets!! Thanks so much for spending a bit of time with me today and until next time, Happy Crafting!!!
