Three Backgrounds with Joy Clair Stamps Make It Sparkle

Just a few days ago, Joy Clair Stamps had the New Release Blog Hop! If you haven’t yet, be sure to head over and hop along to be entered into the Gift Card Giveaway!! But during the blog hop all of the new stamp sets were introduced including Born to Sparkle. The Born To Sparkle stamp set is a fun set from the Everyday Line that includes sooo many great images, but my favorites are the sequins. What I love about the sequins in this set is that not only do you have the outline stamp, but you also have the inside of each sequin which you can stamp in any color, or even heat emboss for extra sparkle!!

For my first card I went super simple and just stamped a background with the sequins, placing them anywhere and in no particular order. Then, using the center stamps, I filled them in with colors. Using a few other stamps from the set, I created a sparkly panel which matched the sentiment perfectly!!

My next card I wanted to do a bit more of a line background, using my ruler I drew in a few lines and stamped the sequins on an angle to create a fun background that way! After filling each in with some color, I added a angled sentiment strip and a fussy cut large bold sentiment from the Hello Sentiments stamp set!

For my final background, I wanted to create more of a circular or medallion panel, I divided my panel up by drawing lines through the center and started stamping in each space and on a few of the lines. Just by following the lines and repeatedly stamping each sequin I was able to create more of a circular pattern! I filled in each stamp with color and then added a vellum sentiment panel so I didn’t cover up any of the hard work I had done!

It was that easy to use this new Born to Sparkle stamp set to create three different backgrounds! And really the possibilities with this set are endless! I can’t wait to fussy cut a few of these sequins and add them as accents to other cards as well! If you are interested in the Joy Clair Stamps I used on my projects today, as always, they are linked down below!! Happy Crafting!!
