Be Kind- A Thank You Card with Joy Clair Stamps

Today I just have a card for you. There is no special technique or occasion, I just REALLY wanted to use this adorable stamp set from Joy Clair Stamps. I have been waiting and waiting to use the “Deer Friends” stamp set for awhile now, and I wanted to use it in a way that is everyday, so I used it to create a fun and very fall looking thank you card. If you want to watch the full tutorial on how I put this entire thank you card together, you can find it down below!!

I LOVE when little stamps are included in sets. These little “filler” stamps are perfect for creating your own backgrounds or patterned papers. I just repeatedly stamped three of those small filler stamps across an A2 card base with a black ink (that I knew would play well with my coloring medium) and in about 4 minutes, I had my own custom background!

On a white card stock panel, I stamped the wreath and also built the “Be Kind” sentiment and stamped that in the center of the wreath. I also stamped the fox and stump included in the set, and fussy cut those. Then it was onto coloring. I did some super quick coloring with my colored pencils and OMS and honestly, this color palette is one of my very favorites I’ve ever done!

I quickly put together the outside of the card and then went to work on the inside. I used the Hello Sentiments stamp set, one of my all time favorites, and stamped “Thanks for Everything” on the inside of the card. I also made a large vine in the corner with a single vine image from the Deer Friends stamp set to finish it off! Finally, on the outside I added a few Nuvo drops to highlight the fox and this card was done!

I couldn’t be happier with how this card turned out and honestly, I probably should’ve made a few of them while I had all of the supplies out! You could also switch up this card with any of the little animals and different build-able sentiments included in this stamp set! If you too want to make a card like this or just really love the sets I used today, you will find them all conveniently linked up down below! Happy Crafting Everyone!!
