Hi Everyone!! Today I have a fun video that I want to share with you. In today’s video tutorial I created 2 cards for 2 different occasions, but the fun and money saving part? I only 1 stamp!! I did use two different sentiments, but the main portion of these cards was just one stamp, masked, and repeatedly stamped! If you want to see how I did it, be sure to watch the video tutorial below!!
To make two cards I started with a very long panel that I was stamping on. I also made two masks with the “Gift Pile” stamp and Masking Paper. To make the masks a bit quicker to cut out, I didn’t worry about the bows, those just got cut off. Watch the video above for more information, tips and tricks on masking!
Both cards have different color combinations as you can see. You can customize this to your liking. I used a red and green palette for Christmas and a purple, yellow, and teal palette for my Birthday card.
The only difference, aside from the orientation and color palette of each card, is the sentiment on each card. I kept things really simple and stamped “Celebrate” on the Birthday card and “Merry Christmas” on the Christmas Card. Each card was put together very simply and because I did a splatter background on each card, I left all embellishment off.
I love making videos and cards like this. Using the same stamp for two different occasions is such an easy way to get the most use of your stamps! If you are interested in any of the stamps or products I used on my cards today, you can find them all linked below! Happy Crafting Everyone!!
