Hi Everyone!! Today is International Coffee Day and we are celebrating over at Joy Clair Stamps!! For my card today, I wanted to create an interactive shaker card using the Coffee Talks stamp set from Joy Clair, but I wanted it to be a little bit different. So today I have a fun video tutorial sharing how I created a LIQUID shaker card! Yes, a shaker card filled with liquid, instead of the usual sequins or glitter! I thought this would a fun change from the normal, so if you want to see how to make this different interactive card, watch the full video tutorial down below!
For my card I wanted to use the Coffee Talk stamp set from Joy Clair Stamps. This is one of my favorite coffee themed stamp sets ever! It is such a fabulous set full of so many different images to customize your card and tons of great sentiments!
A few tips for creating this liquid shaker card. The first, don’t use a really runny liquid. I used hair gel and colored it with liquid watercolors. You can also add some water to make it a little more runny, but not too watery in case of any leaking! Also, I used smaller jewelry bags for holding my liquid. If you don’t have these and don’t have a craft store close, you can use a regular ziplock baggie and just fold it over to make it smaller to fit your card!
I hope you all enjoyed a fun way to make a different type of shaker card! And if you are interested in any of the supplies I used in making my card today, you will find them all linked down below! Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Crafting!!
