Hello Everyone! I am so excited to share some fun ways to add foil to your projects with stencils and mediums! These are both easy ways to add such a WOW element to your cards! They do have different results, so you’ll have to watch the video tutorial down below for all the details!
Like I said above, these both are fantastic and easy way to foil but they do have some differences. First of all they’re both using different mediums. I used the Hot Foil Gel medium for a more polished and shiny finish. For the other card, I used the Tacky when Dry Gel which gave me a more distressed finish. They’re both beautiful, but you can see the difference between the two!
Something that is the same for both mediums, you do need to apply both mediums as smooth as possible. I used a palette knife, but looking back an old credit card or gift cards might be a bit easier to get that super smooth finish I was looking for!
I hope you all enjoyed today’s video sharing two different ways to add foil with stencils and mediums! You can find links to all the products I used to make my cards today down below! Happy Crafting Everyone!!
