Hello Everyone!! I hope you all are enjoying the Event today and getting in the Holiday spirit!! I know as soon as October starts I’m ready for Christmas and can I say that my husband and I have already started shopping! We both LOVE this time of year! Anyway, back to why you’re here, the card! Today I have a video to share with you showing exactly how I created my card for this wonderful blog hop. You can watch the entire process below!
This card is simple to make, but there are quite a few components to make/work on before you can put it together. I started with the background, made with the Christmas Lights Stamp. I heat embossed this stamp onto vellum with silver embossing powder. For a few tips on how to do this easily be sure to watch the video above. I cut down the background with a rectangle die and also made a white frame with the same die set. while I had the die cutting machine out, I used the inside panel from the frame and cut a “snowy” hill.
To add the little snowman on this card I used the Snowy Greeting Stamp and Versafine Clair Ink. After quickly coloring in the stamped image and fussy cutting I put together the card front! As always I also decorated the inside, because why not?
I hope you all enjoyed my card for today’s Event and if you are interested in any of the supplies I used you can always find them linked down below! And be sure to head to the Joy Clair Stamps Blog to see what the rest of the Design Team has created!! Happy Crafting Everyone!!
