Now onto my projects! Today I have a video for you sharing a few different ways to add foil to cover plate die cuts! As soon as I seen the Fancy Floral die from Kat’s Scrappiness, I knew I had to add it to my collection! I’m using it for Winter or Christmas cards today, but this could easily be used year round and for so many different techniques! I’ll be sharing more in later videos with this same die so be sure to come back and check those out as well!

In the video I’m sharing two different ways to add gold foil to your cover plate die cuts. One way all you need is adhesive and the other you can use laser printer paper and a laminator! Both have beautiful results, but they are a little bit different in the way each looks! Here’s a close look at the two results. The card on the right is foiled with toner sheets and a lamintor. The card on the left is made with adhesive sheets and gold foil burnished on top!

Both ways of going about getting the foil onto your die cuts do give you a different look, but they both have a negative image result in the foil. This can be used to make another card too! So with both techniques you can get two cards from just one die cut and piece of foil! All I did was adhere the negtive image foil onto a piece of white cardstock. Be sure to use a strong glue for this!!

I am so in love with all of these cards! Be sure to watch the video for all the tips and tricks on making these three cards! Because the backgrounds on these cards was so beautiful, I really wanted to keep the focus on them. To finish these cards I attached the die cuts to A2 card bases and used a Poppy Stamps stamp & die set to add sentiments to each card for the finishing touch!

Be sure to hop along with all of the wonderful inspiration today! And if you too want to join in on the fun, be sure to link up a project of your own!! You can do that Here! If you are interested in the products I used today, they are all going to be linked below! Happy Crafting Everyone!!
