Have you been following along the past few days as Joy Clair Stamps shares their new release?? Well today is the last day and I am super excited to share one of my very favorite new additions to the Color by Faith line, “Reckless Love”. This new stamp set is based on the very popular song, which I happen to love, and has some amazing accent stamps to create gorgeous Bible journaling pages or cards like I’ve done today. This card is a very simple project! I started by stamping the background, using the flower and other accents stamps included in the Reckless Love stamp set. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink so I could quickly move onto coloring in the images with my alcohol markers. You could use ANY coloring medium here, I just wanted the vibrancy that alcohol markers give me!
To finish the front of the card I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I added a frame and another layer of vellum, for a littler more opacity, and attached it to the panel and the panel onto an A2 card base. Finally, I added a few clear jewels for a nice sparkly finish!
The inside of the card I kept SUPER simple and only used one stamp from the Reckless Love stamp set. I stamped the little sheep’s behind in Nocturne Versafine Clair ink and that finished the entire card! I also made a quick bookmark to accompany this card.
