Making a Vellum Envelope with the Envelope Punch Board

If any of you had the opportunity to attend Creativation this year, I hope you had time to drop by the Buttons Galore & More booth! I had the wonderful privilege to make some cards featuring their new products! And more good news, I recorded the process for just about every single one of the projects I made, so I get to share them here, too!! But with that, let me say I do skip around a bit more and wasn’t as concerned about the filming process for these videos – I was working on a time crunch and wanted to get as many projects done as possible but still wanted to share the process with all of you! For my first card, I’m sharing a vellum envelope, that I made with the Envelope Punch Board and then filled with fun tissue paper and some gorgeous felt hearts and sequins, courtesy of Buttons Galore & More! You can watch the full video tutorial down below!

I was skeptical when I first bought the Envelope Punch Board several years ago, but I have to say that it was a great purchase! I love making little envelopes for the front of my cards and stuffing them with gift cards or in this case sequins!! It really is so versatile and fun! Plus, this tool allows me to create now only A2 sized cards and not worry about the envelope or storing several different sizes in my small craft space.

Recently, I was asked to make some pieces for Buttons Galore and More for Creativation this year. I was introduced to their Sparkletz line and OH MY GOODNESS!!!! These little packs are not only full of fun sequins, but they also have half back rhinestones, pearls, seed beads, etc. etc. etc. mixed in for so much variety and fun! Here’s a look at the Hugs & Kisses mix I used today!!

I loved arranging the Sparkletz along with tissue paper to make the envelope look as if it was exploding! I also added a few felt hearts from an Embellishment Kit from 28 Lilac Lane!

I stuffed my envelope and adhered to the front of the card. The background I adhered it to is shiny as well!! It’s made with a fun stencil from The Crafter’s Workshop and Brilliance Ink!!

I hope you all enjoyed today’s video tutorial!! I had such a fun time making this card and I love the different size! I rarely make square cards, bu this one just called for it!! If you are interested in any of the supplies I used on my card today, you will find them all listed and linked down below! Until next time, Happy Crafting!!
