Last month I posted a video tutorial for The Crafter’s Workshop, sharing how to stamp or print with stencils. During that tutorial, I showed a few finished cards where I also used another technique, spotlight stenciling. This is basically the same concept as Spotlight Stamping – which you can find HERE – but instead of using stamping I used stencils for my cards! If you want to learn more about the spotlight stenciling technique, watch the video tutorial below!
This technique is so fun and easy and makes a bold impact on your card design and there are so many fun ways to go about doing it! For my card today I used the new Stone Increase stencil from The Crafter’s Workshop in the 6×6 size, but a 12×12 stencil will work, too.
Be sure to watch the video above for the full run down on creating this fun card! Here’s a fun peek at the inside of the card too!!
And like I said I did give a sneak peek at this technique in the Printing with Stencils video tutorial. Here is a look at those cards!
If you give this technique a try, I would LOVE to see it! Just tag me on any social media platform!! And if you are interested in the supplies I used today, you can find them all listed and linked down below! Until next time, Happy Crafting!!
