Easy Sentiment Backgrounds

Sentiments are essential to cardmaking, and the majority of stamp sets include sentiments in their sets. I love to stretch my stamps to their fullest potential, so I decided to share with you all how I make easy sentiment backgrounds to use up all of those sentiments that are included in my stamp sets! Keep reading below for lots of info and different ways you can use your sentiments to create easy and quick backgrounds for your cards!

My first card is bright and bold and colorful! I used the Saved by Grace stamp set, again, but this time to create a bold backgrounds. I used the large “FAITH” stamp and chose a few different bright inks to make a quick background. I used my MISTI for easy placement. To finish the card I stamped a few flowers from the same set, colored them in with the same inks and made a quick bouquet to finish off the card!

For my second card, I used a group of sentiments that were included in the Proverbs 31 stamp set. This makes it super easy to stamp just a few times to fill up a background! I added a colored image to the top of this card along with a sentiment from the Bossbabe stamp set to finish off this simple and quick card!

My third and final card I went to an older set that I hadn’t had the chance to play with. Because of all the great “sentiments” and words in the Fruit of the spirit stamp set it was perfect for this technique! And because the words are so simple, I stamped them on an angle to add a little more interest. This set also includes several fruit images, which I stamped and colored to layer underneath the sentiment background. After adding an oval sentiment, this card was done.

These cards were all super easy and I hope you enjoyed a peek at how I made them! If you are interested in any of the stamp sets I used, you can find them all listed and linked down below. Until next time, Happy Crafting!!

A quick update – I am hoping my video schedule can go back to normal soon! June has been a super busy month, with only one day a week without anything “scheduled”. Thanks for bearing with me and I hope to make it through my backlog of videos soon!!!
