Just Because with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps

This month has been a whirlwind! My son’s baseball schedule really kicked it up a notch this year and my daughter played T-ball, which I had the pleasure of coaching! Add in their regularly scheduled activities, swimming, errands, breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc. etc. etc. and it has been a BUSY month! That being said, it has really made me make some quick cards! I did not have a lot of time to work on projects and there were some late nights, but learning to make faster cards with less steps, fewer products, but still have them look great was a lot of fun! Today’s card is one of those cards! I didn’t have time to film this card, but I am excited to remake it and a few similar ones to share in a video coming soon! But you can keep reading below and I will tell you, as best I can, how I put it together!

First, I started with a white cardstock panel that measured 2.25″ x 5.5″ and dusted it with my anti static tool. I grabbed the Fern stamp from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps and stamped a quick background with Versamark ink. Then, with Bronze Perfect Pearls I dusted it over the Versamark stamped images. This is such a quick technique that makes such a big impact on your card! But check out that shine! (I know, not the best picture, but I NEEDED to show the shine!)

To give a bit of color to the card base, I quickly stenciled a background with Mandarin Spice Catherine Pooler Ink! Stencils are one of my favorite ways to create a quick background without a lot of thought and work.

Finally, the sentiment. The part of the card I most often forget about. I am sooo thankful for the Tiny Words sets from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps. They are tiny, hence the name, and they fit into most of my designs so well when I often forget about the sentiment. For this card I used the “Just Because’ and stamped it on a banner. I matted the banner with a kraft mat, attached it to the card and this card was finished!!

I hope you all enjoyed this quick and easy card design! And thanks for bearing with me this past month! Until next time, Happy Crafting Everyone!!
