Layered Stamping with Heat Embossing

Today, I have a new tutorial over on the Imagine Channel all about adding heat embossing to your layered stamping! This month, Imagine and Waffle Flower are partnering up to bring you a ton of inspiration. I was super excited when I learned about this collab, because I LOVE Waffle Flower. One of my favorite EVER stamp sets (Plaid Play) comes from them! But aside from that, Waffle Flower has some really unique layering stamp sets. Not just your typical flower or animals, which are great, but REALLY unique layering stamps and that’s what I’m sharing today, plus how to add a bit of heat embossing with Imagine’s AMAZING new MBoss powders! Be sure to watch the video tutorial below!

Some supplies used in the video above were sent to me free of charge for design purposes. To find out what design teams I am currently on or have been on in the past head HERE.

The set I am using today is the Biking Girls and it is unlike any stamp layering set I’ve seen before. You build up the layers to create these adorable little girls riding their bikes. And while I’m on the subject, these sets are set up really well. Each girl’s layers are grouped together, there is a guide to follow of the order of which to stamp them, and there are even suggestions for color choices! Be sure to watch the video tutorial above for a better break down!

For stamp layering I really like to use dye inks, so I pulled out my Memento Dew Drops for stamping. I followed the color suggestions on the stamp set and love the way it turnedout! For my heat embossing I used the new MBoss embossing powder from Imagine from in Violet.

One tip I will leave you with is, if you are taking the time to line up your stamps, especially when using a stamp positioner, you might as well make a few cards! It really makes the effort much more worth your time!

I can’t wait to use this set again. It is just so unique and cute and I definitely have more ideas for it!

If you are interested in any of the supplies I used today, you can find them all listed and linked down below! Until next time, happy crafting!!
